What I desire to be

Understood
Through my touch

I say in between
I need one to understand

because it’s not by demand

But I admire the devotion
stay afloat
Loving to ride the waves of the ocean
Flow with the motion
Cause I wear my emotions
Like my favorite pair of sneakers
Or my favorite pair of jeans
Used to hide them
Though they’re in my genes
I hated their features
Treated them

they were unfamiliar creatures
But I sought for them
Like there was a search warrant out
But I could

Bring them about
Though I was drowning in them
I was frowning in them
Taking the pain
Standing out in the sun
Only in fear of the rain
